Been a busy summer & have hade some realy interesting windows to dress like this one for instance, great proportions & a realy good looking treatment, one or two wobbly step moments when fitting. Its fantstic to get to dress windows like this, we have some projects comomg up, including icluding some timeless Jim Dickens Fabric & some realy unusual velvets from blendworth Posted on Saturday May 29 7:17:00 UTC 2010 Listed under: A good day yesterday, bad back getting better so lots of fitting to catch up on, firstly a Jones & Co 300cm pole to put up in Boston, all went well, pole looked realy good.
Then east of Horncastle to a gorgious house to put up an Evens 55mm reeded mahogony pole & hang 1 pair of lined & interlined triple pinch pleat curtains in Harlequin fabric, dream job. Fantastic views of lincoln cathederal as you drive home over the rolling lincolnshire wolds.

Finished the day off buy fitting 2 more pole close to home & hang 2 pairs of curtains, one pair of Ali specials with ballerinas & crystals on the tie backs.4

Dreading the next job, 1 pair pure white curtains, have bought white cotton gloves to handle the fabric with when fitting
Hallis Hudson Galleria finials should arrive today, always look forward to recieving Galleria finials, they just look fantastic
Orders coming in dribs & drabs, hot weather not helping but you will not find me complaing about the weather.

Headboards to make, 4m pelmets to make, should be a busy weekend. orders have dried up a little lately but still cannot seem to get caught up, lots of little jobs, alterations etc allways seem to take longer than making things from scratch.
New james brindley book arrived yesterday, lots of silks & sparkle
